#PuebloLovesLife

Did you know that? You probably haven’t seen the tic-tac-toe thingy before it though. “Hashtags” are the way you can connect people to your cause or passions on social media. As a musician, it took me a while to figure out why people were using the “sharp sign” before these words on Facebook. You might think of a “number” or the “pound sign” or whatever other way this # symbol is used in our language. On a side note… it’s interesting that we can use one icon in so many different ways.

Locally, A Caring Pregnancy Center has used #PuebloLovesLife to draw attention to the ministries offered in our  community. It is a slogan that is at once true, and also aspirational. Today is “Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.” It is a day set aside in our nation to remind us that God has created each human with worth and purpose. It is a cause that is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself is our life. He has come that we would have it abundantly. ACPC offers Gospel resources for unplanned pregnancies, and training for families in parenting and needs that arise throughout raising a family.

If we call ourselves followers of Jesus, we need to love the way He loves. It goes beyond just calling ourselves “Pro-Life.” It is rooted in supporting families throughout the struggles of our entire lives. The vast majority of the things we face in this life are challenging. Cherish the life you have, the lives you have been given, and seek to bless Jesus in all you say and do. Love the life you have been given.

Seek Him!
